The company has secured a 42 sqm booth at Israell’s major life science exhibition and conference scheduled for June 15-17 at the David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv. Three of EDI’s client states will be present at the booth: Georgia, Illinois and Pennsylvania. The conference organizers expect more than 10,000 people to attend the event.
Invest in Illinois Seminar Scheduled
In cooperation with the America-Israel Chamber of Commerce in Chicago and Illinois’ Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, EDI will host an “Invest in Israel” seminar and reception at the Carlton Hotel in Tel Aviv on June 14th. Several representatives of various Chicago-based groups will be in attendance to speak about the benefits of locating US facilities in the state. EDI represented the trade and investment interests of the state in this region.
Pennsylvania Trade Mission to Visit in June
Pennsylvania’s Office of International Business Development will bring a mission of Pennsylvania companies to the region in mid-June, visiting Jordan, Israel and Turkey. This “horizontal” mission will give participating companies the option of visiting one or all of the countries available. EDI represents the trade and investment interests of the Commonwealth in the Middle East.
Merage Foundation to Visit Israel in June
At the end of June, Merage Foundation for US-Israel Trade President Paul Merage and Executive Director, Marshall Kaplan, will be in Israel at the end of June to unveil a new education program in cooperation with the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. During their visit events will be held with senior CEOs and government officials to bring people up to date on this new and exciting program. EDI represents the interests of the Foundation in Israel.
Visits to Delaware, Pennsylvania and Illinois Concluded
EDI President Sherwin Pomerantz was in the US during the first week of May visiting clients in Wilmington (DE), Harrisburg & Philadelphia (PA) and Chicago (IL). EDI represents the trade and investment interests of all three states in the Middle East.
AMCHAM Israel Annual Dinner Held in May
EDI participated in the annual dinner of the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) held at the home of the US Ambassador in Herzlia on May 19th. EDI President Sherwin Pomerantz is a member of the Management Committee of the Chamber.
