EDI to promote TURKEYBUILD Istanbul Exhibition in Israel
EDI’s Jonathan Sternberg recently traveled to Istanbul, Turkey to attend the 34th annual TURKEYBUILD Istanbul Exhibition. The Fair was organized by “YEM - The Building Information Center” and was held between 27 April – 1 May 2011. EDI and YEM signed an exclusive representation agreement appointing EDI as YEM’s official representative in Israel. EDI will work to attract Israeli exhibitors and buyer delegations to future shows.
While in Turkey, Mr. Sternberg also met with various Turkish importers, distributors and businesspeople on behalf of EDI’s client states.
34th YAPI - TURKEYBUILD Istanbul Exhibition, attracted 111,320 local and international professionals to the 81,000 square meter exhibition area.Compared to previous years, the exhibition area grew by 30% and the focus has become more and more international. Organized by Yapı-Endüstri Merkezi “YEM The Building Information Center”, YAPI - TURKEYBUILD Istanbul is considered the biggest building exhibition in the region, including visitors and exhibitors from the Balkan Region, Former CIS Countries, Russia, Middle East and North Africa.
In addition to TURKEYBUILD Istanbul, YEM also holds annual trade shows for the building and construction sector in Izmir and Ankara.
