Merage Fellows Talk about VoIP and Appreciate Ruach with Jeff Pulver
EDI President Sherwin Pomerantz introduces VoIP guru Jeff Pulver.
Jeff Pulver, a pioneer of the VoIP industry and a leader in the emerging "TV on the Net" industry, addressed the Merage Fellows on Wednesday, 15 February 2012 at the "Center for a Beautiful Israel" convention venue in Tel Aviv.
A room full of up and coming young executives, entrepreneurs and thinkers were touched by Pulver's recounting of his personal road to success. Pulver shared various experiences and observations with the group, including his discovery of the intrigue of ham radio, invention of the CellSocket, appearances before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and his development of a conference series focusing on Twitter strategy and activities. He also discussed his hobby of investing in startups (especially Israeli)-he made sure to note his aversion to traditional business plans and his insistence on investing in PEOPLE and in those who demonstrate "ruach" (i.e. spirit).
Pulver warms up for his presentation with EDI President Sherwin Pomerantz (left), Merage Board Member Rami Guzman (2nd from left) and EDI Business Development Associate Michael Platt.
Pulver is a well-known entrepreneur, author, investor and opinion leader, possessing over a decade of experience with Internet/IP communications and innovation.
