EDI's Jonathan Sternberg explores business opportunities with a Turkish importer.

EDI’s Jonathan Sternberg recently traveled to Istanbul, Turkey to attend the 5^th annual WATECO (Water Technologies) trade show.  The Fair was organized by Tuyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. and was held between 16 – 19 December 2010. While in Turkey, Mr. Sternberg met with various Turkish importers, distributors and business people on behalf of EDI’s client states. 

WATECO 2010 focused on the water, wastewater, environmental technologies and infrastructure installation sectors.  Thus, exhibitors and visitors included a diverse range of companies dealing with drinking water, process, waste water refining and recycling, pipe and pipe equipments for water and waste water, pump and pump equipments, valve and valve equipments, air pressure tanks, connection elements, pool refining chemicals and equipments, water meters, water isolation products, canal, pipe, installation cleaning equipments and systems, caterpillars, infrastructure sounding, research technologies and services, measuring technologies, control, laboratory technologies and services, environmental management and the like. 

According to organizers, some 10,000 visitors attended the show over the course of 4 days, creating many sales and export opportunities for Turkish manufacturers.
